Luis Martinez Dávila

Luis Martinez Davila is a self-taught artist, who demonstrates in his works a unique talent and outstanding creativity and maturity and his work reflects a profound knowledge of what life in the Amazon jungle really is like.

His art is very versatile, he paints with natural dyes, tempera, oil; he does wood carving, molds mud and plaster and works with feathers, fish scales and local and foreign seeds, all of  his work is inspired by his love for the beauty of Amazon region.
